After registering for a test date via the internet with the link above, you will need to download the proper coverpage and mail it to us with your fee. If you did not download the coverpage when you registered for the test, click here to get that coverpage.

*On the paperwork turn in day you must visit us between 3:00pm & 5:00pm.

No early paperwork submissions accepted.

If you are you have been issued a permit with your picture you can take your driving test at our location. You will use our car and submit your paperwork at our location. You will need to go to the DMV after the test to take a knowledge test, click here to learn more and to be issued your physical license.

Office hours Monday - Friday:

11:00am -1:00pm &

3:00pm - 5:00pm

- If you are enrolled in our Full Teen Course (30 hours of classroom & 8 hours of on-road instruction) the fee to take the test at our location is $90.

- If you are a Drug & Alcohol student or completed your training elsewhere the fee to take the test at our location is $260 (this includes the state-mandated 2 hours of driving lessons in one of our cars)

Step 3:

Turning in Your Paperwork

You must turn in your paperwork and payment prior to the test. This must be done at least 2 weeks ahead of time and unfortunately once you register for the class you can not unregister. To complete the paperwork you can come on our paperwork turn-in day, or pick up the paperwork and turn it in ahead of time. NOTE: One form requires notarization - please pick up the form prior to paperwork day so you can have the form notarized.

If you are attempting to complete the paperwork on your own please watch this video below, with your paperwork to ensure the forms are completed properly. We can not accept forms complete incorrectly.

Step 4:

Make Sure You Bring Us All The Items We Need

On the paperwork checklist ALL applicants must provide us with:

1. R-229 - Green & White Form

Questions 1 through 16 must be completed along with:

- Signature of test taker in the proper place

- Signature, CT License # and expiration date of parent

(home training instructor)

This form can be completed on paperwork turn-in day or

picked up and completed prior to paperwork day

2. Parental Consent Form (2D) - must be properly completed.

Can be filled out on paperwork turn-in day or picked up

And completed prior to paperwork day - requires Notarization!

3. Valid Permit - submit a copy of your picture permit on paperwork

Turn-in day and you must bring your permit the day of the test

4. CS1 - small yellow certificate shows completion of classroom

work. HRDS full teen students are issued this after turning in

their paperwork, all other students must provide this.

If you have taken the test already you must also provide:

A $40 check made out to the DMV

CS1 it is given to you after your test.
